We’re The Valley Shiners — a new, locally based window and exterior cleaning service. This is the first time many of you will hear our name, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to introduce ourselves than by joining the community in supporting Fire Prevention Week. Our work depends on the Valley’s most valuable resource — water. That connection makes us mindful of how precious it is, and of the responsibility we all share in caring for the place we call home.

About the Fire Aware Campaign
Fire Aware is our annual community initiative launched during Fire Prevention Week, a province-wide effort led by the Office of the Fire Commissioner and the National Fire Protection Association. Each October, Fire Prevention Week highlights the importance of fire safety and prevention in homes and communities across British Columbia.
By aligning our campaign with Fire Prevention Week, The Valley Shiners are proud to support local fire rescue teams and raise awareness about prevention in the Columbia Valley. Through Fire Aware, we commit 25% of campaign proceeds directly to our community’s fire departments — clear views for our customers, stronger support for those who protect us all.
