Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by The Valley Shiners.
1. Estimates & Deposits
All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
A 50% deposit is required to secure scheduling, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Work is not guaranteed on the calendar until the deposit is received.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due upon completion of service.
Invoices are payable immediately unless otherwise stated in writing.
Valley Shiners reserves the right to charge late fees on overdue balances.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
We understand emergencies happen and will exercise reasonable discretion where appropriate.
4. Weather Policy
Our services are weather-dependent.
If weather conditions are deemed unsafe or likely to compromise quality (including high winds, heavy rain, freezing conditions, or extreme temperatures), services will be rescheduled at the earliest available date.
5. Access & Site Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring:
Clear access to all service areas
Pets are secured
Alarm systems are disabled where applicable
Outdoor furniture or obstacles are reasonably cleared
Valley Shiners reserves the right to modify scope or reschedule if access is restricted.
6. Pre-Existing Conditions & Liability
Valley Shiners is not responsible for:
Pre-existing window damage
Failed or compromised window seals
Oxidized or deteriorated frames
Hard water stains or mineral buildup unless specifically quoted
Scratches, cracks, or defects discovered during cleaning
We will notify the client if any pre-existing damage is observed.
Liability is limited to the value of services provided.
7. Safety & Work Conditions
For safety reasons, Valley Shiners may decline to perform work if conditions are deemed unsafe.
This includes structural instability, unsafe roof access, or hazardous environments.
8. Media & Photography
Valley Shiners may capture before-and-after photos or video footage of service areas for quality control and marketing purposes.
No personally identifiable information will be shared without the property owner’s consent.
Clients may opt out of marketing use by notifying Valley Shiners in writing prior to service.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the completed service, please notify us within 48 hours.
We will return to address legitimate concerns at no additional charge.
10. Agreement
By accepting a quote, paying a deposit, or allowing service to commence, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
